The manager of Manchester City, Roberto Mancini claimed to give up to chase the Premier League trophy this season. Mancini is now focused on securing the runner-up from the pursuit of, Chelsea and Tottenham.
"The title is over, but this will not change anything because we will still try our best until the season ends," said Mancini as reported Skysport.
"We have four points ahead of Chelsea, five points ahead of Tottenham and still have 9 games again. For this reason it is important for us to keep working hard until the end of the season," added Mancini.
At the same time, Mancini insists City will survive in the long term. The Italian manager also dismissed rumors that if Yaya Toure will soon move to Ligue 1 for AS Monaco.
"Yaya will stay here for a long time. He is one of the world's best players, and will last for 3, 4, 5 years from now," said Mancini.
