Riccardo Montolivo says he can play in that position ever left by Andrea Pirlo. But it all depends on the coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Once released Pirlo to Juventus, Milan playmaker strength seems to disappear. Montolivo is very confident he can replace it if the former maestro Rossoneri Allegri want to.
"I'm sure I can do it. I can play in front of the defense. Might take a little adapting," said Montolivo on Milan Channel.
"I just joined the coach said.'s Up to him where I want to play," added the player who is a co-Pirlo in the Italian national team.
Montolivo recruited for free by Milan from Fiorentina last summer, but his new club after a less convincing start diving left a number of star players. However, Allegri's squad began to find their identity again. Montolivo was confident that the Rossoneri could return to the top flight Serie A.
"Champions League is still pretty tight," said Montolivo.
"We have to continue to play well and win.'s The only way we can fix the position," he concluded.
Today, Milan occupy seventh in the standings, eight points at odds of Champions League zone and closed to within 17 points with Juventus at the top spot.
