Sir Alex Ferguson is rumored to be in New York and met with Josep Guardiola. Reports The Sun revealed that this time Manchester United were left only with his wife, Cathy.
The main purpose Fergie went to New York this week is to simply unwind before Christmas, reports The Sun. However, on the sidelines of the brief getaway, Fergie also made an appointment with Guardiola.
Fergie and Guardiola both have an apartment in New York and is rumored to have met two previous times with Guardiola. The latter, Fergie and Pep 'caught' enjoying a tennis match in New York.
Guardiola is one of the candidates who are considered worthy enough to replace Sir Alex. On the other hand, Guardiola also placed Manchester United as one of the club a priority.
Fergie was recently seen some top coaches kind Guardiola or Jose Mourinho. Quite possibly Fergie is doing a sort of audition to recruit who would succeed him someday.
