Sir Alex Ferguson feels the troops Alan Pardew can often bring surprises. She was well aware that Newcastle will tonight to Old Traffold, not the opponent lightly.
Fergie learned from last season when the Magpies could give them a defeat, at that time MU shocked by the new names that were previously underestimated.
"Last season new players they bring all of our surprise. We do not really know about them," said Ferguson.
"I knew about Demba Ba, of course, but to be honest I do not know anything about Yohan Cabaye or Papiss Cisse. They undergo a fantastic season yesterday."
But Newcastle this season unlike last season, they were hit by a storm of injuries and a downward trend. Ferguson admitted could understand it, because the squad is not as big as his opponent.
"Cabaye sidelined until next year, Cheick Tiote sidelined until next year. With one or two important players are injured and that's what makes a difference when you do not have a strong team like us or City or Chelsea."
