Madrid - Real Madrid end their work in the group phase of the Champions League with victory over Ajax Amsterdam. Not wanting to take a long time to enjoy this victory, coach Jose Mourinho immediately thought of La Liga.
When they host Ajax at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday (05/12/2012) pm dawn, Madrid is certain to qualify for the last 16 of the lower number of players backing. Names such as Antonio Adan, nachos, and Jose Callejon be a starter. Jose Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata is also included in the second round.
Although it does not appear full team, Madrid was still too strong for Ajax. They won convincingly 4-1 thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Callejon (two goals). Ajax only reply once through Derk Boerrigter.
These results did not change the position of Los Blancos at the top of Group D. They still finished runner-up to Borussia Dortmund. In round 16, the Spanish capital club will meet one of the other group winners.
"Whichever team we will face in the next round, will certainly be difficult," said Mourinho cited Football Espana.
Mourinho added that this time he was already thinking of the domestic competition. In the Champions League, Madrid scattered in third in the standings, 11 points behind Barcelona. In the Copa del Rey, Mourinho made the team will meet with Celta Vigo in the round of 16.
"The only thing that now our focus is the La Liga and the Copa del Rey later," said Mourinho.
