Rooney be the Best Player In the EPL 2012

Player of the Premier League, according to Global Fans Survey 2012 which was held at Barclays, the main sponsor of the competition show Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney was elected.

Through a special web page, about 30,000 fans giving their opinions on the course of the league in the last 12 months. And the result is one of the five fans or 20 percent of voters cast ballots for the England striker. In second place is Robin van Persie (14%) followed by Steven Gerrard (10%).

 When I heard his name was chosen as the best, Rooney said, "It feels great to be recognized in a survey of fans. I got a message from fans all over the world so I know how popular the Premier League outside the UK."

For the title of best player of all time, Ryan Giggs ranks first followed by Thierry Henry (12%) and Gerrard (10%). While the young players with the best prospects for the next five years disabet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with 17 percent voice, overshadowed Jack Wilshere (13%) and Tom Cleverley (8%).

In addition to Rooney and Giggs, the Red Devils also placed their manager, Sir Alex Ferguson as the best manager with a total vote of 41 percent. Jose Mourinho also shows strong charisma in England after he was selected to be the manager of the most desirable in the Premier League fans with sound 38 percent.

The survey is the third this year after previously also held in 2005 and 2008.
