Hamstring injury, Anderson Absent some Week

The victory earned Manchester United from Reading to leave the bad news. Anderson hamstring injury and is expected to step aside for a few weeks.

Anderson performed brilliantly at the Madejski Stadium by donating an equalizing goal in the 13th minute. However, the Brazilian midfielder was substituted before half-time by Phil Jones after a visible limp.

After the match, Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that the players suffered hamstring muscle withdrawal and should go into the treatment room.

"Unfortunately he suffered a hamstring injury. He will be sidelined for several weeks," said the Manchester United manager told MUTV.

"He has played very well and scored a beautiful goal. I am very sorry for him."

Anderson was performing okay in the last three games by contributing one goal and one assist. This is certainly detrimental to the 'Red Devils' will face Manchester derby at the weekend.
